Intro to Strategic Sustainability (1CM, Free Webinar 120611)

Introduction to The Natural Step Network

This 1-hour general orientation is a concise overview of The Natural Step Framework and how it has been used by organizations and communities. The presentation will describe the core components of the Framework: Systems thinking, Sustainability Principles and backcasting methodology. You’ll learn how these components are used to coordinate actions and continuously move your organization closer to achieving its vision. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about additional resources available to their organizations.

What did(?) the Partnership for Susatinable Communities Do?

Ask, Geoff Andersen, president and CEO of Smart Growth America. The program saves communities and the federal government millions and billions of dollars and creates local jobs at a very high ROI! Hard to beat it, yet the House of Representatives voted to eliminate its funding! The vote in the senate is up tomorrow (091911).
